Detail: As part of Edinburgh's Official Hogmanay celebrations, Funktioncreep were brought in to provide two nights of live motion graphics, VJ sets and laser shows for artists including Mylo, James Zabeila and Calvin Harris.

The celebrations started at HMV Picture House on 30 December, progressing to Princes Street Gardens on Hogmanay, before returning to the Picture House for a live DJ set from James Zabeila and Mylo.

Detail: For the recent PDC darts tour date at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, Funktioncreep were brought in to project close-up camera-work, graphics and footage onto the internal architecture of the venue.

We software-mapped the internal structure of the building then used this to project eight live close-up feeds of the board and players on to the architecture. We also provided a live 4 hour feed used by SKY for their coverage of the event.

Detail: Funktioncreep were asked to design and install the set for the Carl Cox arena at the recent EH1 music festival. We also provided a 12W RGB laser system and laser show for Orbital in the main arena.

Our install consisted of double-stacked full HD projectors, together with relay plasmas around the arena. We then performed a 14 hour fully live set of artist-specific visuals, live multiple close-up cameras and 3D live motion graphics for artists including Darren Emerson, Josh Wink, Inner City, Nic Fanculli, Fergie, and of course, Carl himself.

Detail: Every year, the multi-national insurance and pensions company hold an annual achievers awards ceremony to recognise the company's top sales achievers.

In 2011, the event was held in New York, and Funktioncreep were asked to create an animated video and CGI backdrop for the ceremony. The theme was 1930-1950 New York, so using CGI and bespoke footage, we created a 30 minute long dynamic HD background for the ceremony.

Detail: Funktioncreep were asked to design the set and provide live motion graphics and lasers for Simian Mobile Disco, Felix da Housecat and Annie Mac for key dates on the Annie Mac Presents tour, 2010.

We were then asked back in 2011 to repeat the whole process. Wanting to expand on our show from 2010, this time we designed an elaborate 3 screen set-up requiring projection mapping for the live visuals and camera work.

Detail: Funktioncreep were commissioned by the CFA institute to create a taste of outside Scotland inside their venue.

We filmed multiple skylines in and around Scotland at various times of the day, then projected this footage onto the internal architecture of the building, simulating a natural fall from day to dusk over the duration of the event. We also created a 30 minute film of the many Scottish sights that was projected on a large backdrop, adding to the authenticity of the experience.

Detail: For the first Scottish Soulful Weekender, DJ / promoter Yogi Haughton called on us to publicise the event. We filmed, edited and sequenced a five minute docu-advert, showing venue and DJ line-up, and the event was a sell-out.

We were further commissioned to provide a full visual install in each of the four themed rooms - Using content creation and 3D rendering, we created a unique theme for each room, constantly changing to keep the atmosphere fresh throughout the entire 3 day festival.

Detail: For the first 'Hibs Hall of Fame', Hibernian FC contacted Funktioncreep and asked us to create and project both pre-sequenced and live footage for the show.

We created three streams of footage - One for our large-scale side projectors, one for the front stage featuring live cameras, archived footage and awards details, and a further feed for the infill plasmas at the event, creating a truly immersive experience.

Detail: Funktioncreep were asked by this new, keen label to script and film the first music video for The Maydays track "White in Sunlight", signed to Feast at the start of 2012.
